Pups need good food, too

You’re singing it, right?

Instead of buying dog treats with chemicals, and that artificial goo to fill your Kongs, try a simple, healthy option. For a frozen treat, fill little bathroom cups with a blended mix of high quality canned or raw dog food, plain yogurt and a can of no-salt peas or green beans. Add water as needed to blend.

If you want to fill a Kong, blend the same ingredients but make sure the dog food is the pâté style and use peas or chickpeas so it’s thicker. You’ll need to use your food processor for this one since it will be thicker.

My dogs don’t eat the paper but if you’re worried you can just pop them out. Want to be more environmentally conscious? Use silicone cupcake cups or a silicone mold. 😊

Pack even more of a punch by adding a little zest! Real food is the best way to get the nutrients your body needs.

You can’t budget if you don’t know what you spend. Here is a simple tracker to help you get started. Fill in what you know and as you go through the month fill in what you forgot about. Alternatively, you can go backwards through your bank records 3-6 months. Try to remember the annual things like Amazon Prime or Office 365.
